Systems Change Studio
September 2025
Why Systems Change Studio?
If you are navigating complex challenges and seeking the time to reflect, reconnect, and develop your systemic practice in the company of like-minded changemakers, the Systems Change Studio is for you.
This 2-day in-person workshop explores the fundamentals of systems change and supports you to strengthen your practice and projects with a systems approach - through dialogue, practice, and being part of a learning network.
You’ll step out of your day-to-day to explore what it really means to lead and act systemically and develop your own systems approach that meets the complexity of your life and work challenges - with others who care about change as much as you do.
What you’ll learn
Day 1 grounds you in systems worldviews and patterns - exploring what it means to take a systemic worldview to our change work and how to work with patterns, as well as understanding the boundaries, goals and dynamics of a system.
Day 2 focuses on working with people and power - how we engage and collaborate with others in systems change work, offering practical methods as well as delving into the underlying relational and power dynamics that we all encounter.
Throughout, expect a rich mix of multi-method frameworks, exercises, dialogue, journaling, and peer learning. You’ll walk away not just with new insights, but with real tools and a renewed sense of possibility.
Learning outcomes
Through this 2-day workshop, you will:
- Develop your own systems approach to meet the complexity of your work and world.
- Acquire practical, introductory knowledge of core systems change tools and frameworks - including Three Horizons, the iceberg model, stakeholder mapping, and more.
- Understand the deeper dynamics of change that shape the complex challenges you’re working with.
- Learn to identify key leverage points - where and how to intervene through your projects and programmes in an ever-changing world.
- Gain guidance from experienced systems coaches as you apply these ideas to your own real-world challenges. Whether you’re new to systems thinking or looking to deepen your practice, this workshop meets you where you are.
- Explore what it means to integrate systemic ways of working into your mindset, team culture, and change strategies.
- Practise how to engage people across diverse perspectives, adapt your approach, and work more effectively in messy, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Be part of a purposeful learning environment alongside other spirited systems-minded changemakers - learning not only from the facilitators, but from each other.
How we host
Our 2-day workshop emphasises interactive facilitated learning and peer sharing. Each day includes:
- Exploration and discussion of systems change concepts including reflection and discussion in pairs, small groups, and with the full cohort.
- Daily group check-ins: an opportunity to shape your experience and influence what we cover each day
- Framework learning and application time (i.e. dedicated time to try out the framework, ask questions to the facilitator and peers, and get into the nitty-gritty of how to apply in practice)
- Network and peer sharing time around meals and tea breaks, before and after sessions, in a quiet, peaceful setting in central London
